Do you mean that you don't know how to edit the template of a control? If so, the following steps show how to do this.
Expression Blend
1. Create or open a project in Blend.
2. Drag an Expander control to a window XAML file.
3. In design mode, right click the Expander control, a context menu appears.
4. Choose Edit Control Parts (Template), a sub menu appears.
5. In sub menu, click Edit a Copy.
Visual Studio 2008
Visual Studio 2008 do not directly support edit the tempate of a control. We can only create an empty template for a control, every thing should do by ourselft.
